The population now is estimated at around 80,000.  New housing developments are popping up on the west side of Parker and south closer to Castle Rock. So there’s a combination of newer homes along with the older homes in neighborhoods such as the Pinery and Grand View Estates. The median sales price of homes, at this time, is about $560,000. If you want to live close to town and have more of an urban lifestyle, you can do that in one of the condominiums or townhouse complexes as well as apartments.  That will position you within walking distance of many restaurants, shopping, and recreation as well. Believe it or not, you do not have to be miles out in the country for this experience with the wildlife. If there is not much wildlife where you have chosen to live, don’t fret. You can get that wildlife experience within a 15 to minute drive to a trail, canyon, or lake/reservoir. The city of Parker maintains 250 acres of developed parkland and more than 900 acres of open space

Location. Location. Location. Many neighborhoods have incredible mountain views from hilltop vantage points throughout the Parker area. Parker’s elevation is about 5900 feet while Mile High Denver is 5280. There are many areas of Parker, like The Timbers (pictured here with Brian from his backyard) that sit well above 6000 feet. This elevation is why there are many fantastic views from Parker neighborhoods. You can peer out over the Denver Metro Area, Denver Tech and Downtown, the Front Range foothills and beyond into the Rocky Mountains. There are not many communities in Colorado can match Parker Colorado views.

This is a major Colorado Event folks. Hosted by the Parker Area Chamber of Commerce, the Parker Days Festival attracts 250,000 guests, from all over, to Parker, Colorado over 3 and 1/2 days

Parker Days would not be complete without great barbecue, carnival food, churros, kettle corn, cotton candy, or a deep fried Oreo or Snickers, Chase them down with an ice-cold drink or adult beverage.
